EDID510 / EDID550 not able to interpret new 999 rejection codes M, W, X

Problem(Abstract)

HIPAA 999 acknowledgement introduced rejection codes M, W, X. FA reconciliation and inquiry programs don't handle them.

Symptom

EDID510 reconciliation program does not understand the codes. It treats the situation like INDETERMINATE status. EDID550 inquiry program is not able to single out the code values in its query.

Cause

This has been identified as a product defect under APAR PM79664

Resolving the problem

Apply fix for 6.5. Compile date 1/17/2013 & 6.6 Compile date was 1/23/2013
Batch programs : EDID510 & EDID550
CICS programs: EDIX252 EDIX253, EDIX258 , EDIZ252, EDIZ253, EDIZ258
Copybooks: OEATRC & OEAGRC

Databanking CICS panels will show 'R' along with the secondary code. M,W,X
- This is a new Acknowledgement Sub-status code.
- example display: RX or RW, etc. or just R if that was the code.
- ** It is also stored in the EDIOEA record layouts. **

The EDID550 Statistics file output ( EDISTX) was also altered for this new behavior.
