How do you dynamically trace IBM Sterling Connect:Express for Microsoft Windows?

In the file tomnt.init, manually change the parameter TRACE=O (for OUI, yes in French).

From IBM Sterling Connect:Express version 3.1.0 there is no need to restart the product, but with Connect:Express version 3.0.6 the product needs a restart.

If the folder named trace is not created during the installation of the product, it is a version that does not support dynamic traces.

To set up the trace option do the following:

  1. Start the user interface
  2. Go into the file tomnt.ini
  3. Set the trace option TRACE=O (for OUI, yes in French).
  4. Restart the transfer

After you reproduce the problem, stop the trace the following way:
  1. Start the user interface
  2. Go to tomnt.ini.
  3. Deactivate trace option
