Problem
Attempts to log into IBM Rational Requirements Composer after upgrading to version 4.0.1 results in the error "ID CRRRW7553E A message that was received from the server indicates an error with no specific handler."
Symptom
After successful upgrade to 4.0.1, the following error is seen when trying to access https://server.url:9443/rm/web (displayed in browser):
An error has occurred while processing a server request. The server returned this error code: 500.

The element type "HR" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "".

Additional symptoms:

org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The element type "HR" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "</HR>".
Cause
This issue was identified as a product defect and logged under WI 244606
Resolving The Problem
This issue has been resolved in Rational Requirements Composer 4.0.2.
