Handling JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) messages in Rational Integration Tester

Technote (FAQ)

Question

Can JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) Schema be imported in to Schema Library under IBM Rational Integration Tester (RIT)?

Cause

To format the messages in RIT as JSON messages, you have to import the schemas before applying the JSON schema to the messages

Answer

Currently there is no option to import JSON schemas into the RIT.

However RIT will parse JSON messages as and when they are received.

So, If the requirement is to format the messages as JSON messages, you can copy paste the JSON message text in to the root of the message. Once done the message will be formatted automatically.
