Can an offering be added to a catalog if the catalog and offering do not belong to the same item set?
For example, if OFFERING A belongs to ITEMSET A and CATALOG A belongs to ITEMSET B, can we add OFFERING A to CATALOG A?
Yes. In SmartCloud Control Desk Version 7.5.1 and earlier, users have the ability to add an offering to a catalog that has a different item set.
This is not a best practice and is not recommended, and in the future this behavior may be changed such that you can add offerings only to catalogs associated with the same item set.
