Incorrect time when printing iCal invites from different time zone

Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem

Incorrect time when printing iCal invites from different time zone. When printing from a view (inbox or calendar), a meeting invite from a different time zone may show the wrong time.

Symptom

When receiving a calendar invite via SMTP mail or iCal, from a user in a different time zone, the start and end times may display incorrectly when the document is printed from the view (Inbox or Calendar).

If the invite is opened and then printed, the times are displayed correctly.

For example, this meeting occurs 2PM - 3 PM in CDT received by a user in EDT:

Cause

This has been identified as a product defect under APAR LO74475 and SPR JSTN95YVN5.

The workaround is to open the invite, the times are displayed and printed correctly.
