FastBack BMR CD boot failure with 0xc000035a
FastBack BMR boot CD fails to boot with "Status: 0xc000035a."
BMR Boot CD may stop to boot with the following messages:
Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the
cause. To fix the problem:
1. Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2. Choose your language settings, and then click "Next."
3. Click "Repair your computer."
If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer
manufacturer for assistance.
Info: Windows failed to load because a critical system driver is missing, or corrupt.
The problem happens with the BMR Boot CD that was created with the device driver for Windows 64 bit. It could happen when the device driver for Windows 64 bit was placed into \FastBackBMR\PEDrivers\StorageDrivers or \FastBackBMR\PEDrivers\NetworkDrivers directory at the step 4 or 5 of "Creating a FastBack for Bare Machine Recovery CD for your Windows system" - http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/tsmfbinf/v6/topic/com.ibm.tsm.fb.bmr.doc/BMR_Use/t_fast_bmr_MS_AIK.html.
Resolving the problem
Make sure that device drivers for Windows 32 bit are placed into \FastBackBMR\PEDrivers\StorageDrivers or \FastBackBMR\PEDrivers\NetworkDrivers when creating the BMR CD.
