Unable to resize offline execution Excel after importing rqms file

Technote (troubleshooting)

This technote provides a workaround to resize columns after importing an offline execution rqms file which contains Manual Tester scripts from IBM Rational Quality Manager (RQM) into Microsoft Excel Office program.

The cell or chart you are trying to change is protected and therefore is read-only.

To modify a protected cell or chart, first remove protection using the Unprotected Sheet command (Tools menu, Protection submenu). You may be prompted for a password.

Diagnosing the problem

It is working as designed.

Resolving the problem

Open the offline execution file; the password will always be AAABBBABBAAn.
Remove protection using the Unprotected Sheet command from Excel (Go to Tools menu, and select Protection submenu.)
