Why have the DB2 for z/OS technical resources pages changed?

Technote (FAQ)

Question

Why have the DB2 for z/OS technical resources pages changed?

Answer

The tables of PDF books and corresponding information center links have moved to pages in the Information Management Software for z/OS Solutions Information Center. The information center is the most convenient location for finding information about DB2 for z/OS and related products. We hope that this change will help you find the information you need more quickly and efficiently.

The DB2 for z/OS information is optimized for delivery in web-based formats, like the information center. The information center provides robust search features and content that is, in some cases, more current than the PDF versions.

However, we understand that many customers rely on PDF format. We continue to support and provide access to the PDF files from the information center.

Not immediately. These pages will remain in place to serve customers who have existing bookmarks, to provide a place where you can quickly find the Program Directories and other information resources, and to provide links to the information center.
