In-Guest Data Protection
The use of IBM Spectrum Protect products running inside virtual machines hosted by Microsoft Hyper-V is independent of the version of Microsoft Hyper-V Server. On-Host Data Protection
Backup and restore of Microsoft Hyper-V virtual machine images from the parent partition is supported using the IBM Spectrum Protect for Virtual Environments - Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V.
