Problem(Abstract)

A WebSphere® Transformation Extender (WTX) map fails if an XPATH function references a segment that is not available.

Symptom

When a map uses an XPATH function and references a segment that is not available, the map fails with the error "error: Warning: No nodes matched the location path"


Cause

This has been identified as a product defect under APAR PM84106

Environment

Using XPATH with Valid/Fail functions and segment is not available.

Diagnosing the problem

The map fails with 'error: Warning: No nodes matched the location path"

Resolving the problem

Obtain and apply APAR PM84106
