- Create a Manual Testscript from TestCase Design.

RQM creates the test script with uneven steps. This means that, one step has four lines above and the other step can have three or two lines.
Remove in the above lines between the text in step 2, if you intend to use the steps to recreate the problem.
The incorrect steps depends on the format that user has used.
Cause
If the step separation in the text seems inconsistent, you see formatting issues in steps of the test script.
Environment
Rational Quality Manager version 4.0.1
Resolving the problem
The formatting must be uniform. For example, if you put single blank line in between step 1 and step 2, you must separate subsequent lines with a single blank line between all steps.
Consider the following steps.
1. Create a TestCase, Add following content in TestCase Design.
-
=========================
1blablabla bla bla blabla
2blablabla bla bla blabla
3blablabla bla bla blabla
4blablabla bla bla blabla
5blablabla bla bla blabla
6blablabla bla bla blabla
7blablabla bla bla blabla
8blablabla bla bla blabla
9blablabla bla bla blabla
10blablabla bla bla blabla
11blablabla bla bla blabla
12blablabla bla bla blabla
13blablabla bla bla blabla
14blablabla bla bla blabla
===============================
- Save.
- Create a Manual Testscript from TestCase Design.
- Open the Testscript and you will see all the lines are in 1 step.
Also here, remove the lines between the text in step 2.
