Cannot select the required DB2 instance

Problem(Abstract)

On Linux system, when more than one version of DB2 client is installed on a machine, the Database Configuration panel does not list instances from all clients on that machine.

Symptom

Other than the logged in instance user, no other instance is displayed in the Database Configuration panel


Resolving the problem

To create Registry Services database on the required DB2 instance, you must be logged in as the same user associated with the required DB2 instance.
