Updating the Configuration parameter DISPLAYLOG in CDA

Technote (FAQ)

Question

How can the CDA be used to update the Configuration parameter DISPLAYLOG?

Answer

In CDA, after connecting to the server, open the Console Explorer in CDA.

Right click on the XM1/MCD1/MCQ1 setting. On the menu presented select “Modify”, you will then see the DISPLAYLOG setting with options TRUE and FALSE.

If it is TRUE, hilight TRUE. You will notice the RESTORE DEFAULT VALUE become active and that would set it to FALSE (that is the default).

If it is FALSE, you will need to type in TRUE to change it.

That will set the DISPLAYLOG parameter, but, it does not take effect till the server is recycled.
