Fastback Manager not connecting to correct Fastback Server.

Problem

This document describes how to change the Fastback Manager connection information so it connects to the desired Fastback Server.

Resolving The Problem

There are 2 ways of changing the Fastback Manager configuration so it connects to the desired Fastback Server.

  1. Edit the FastBackManager.ini file which is located in your FastBack Manager installation directory.
    Default Location: \Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\FastBack\manager
  2. If you don't want to manually edit the FastBackManager.ini file then you can connect to any Fastback Server using the FastBack Manager and change the connection information under the following:
    General Configuration --> Network Configuration tab
