WebSphere Adapter for PeopleSoft fails to copy EIS value for attribute SIGNED NUMBER

Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)

PeopleSoft Adapter fails to copy the PeopleSoft component interface value for the attribute of type SIGNED NUMBER.

Cause

The signed Number field in EMD should map to the integer attribute in the generated BO definition file. This problem happens because the EMD part cannot generate a decimal attribute for this kind of NUMBER/SIGNED NUMBER, with decimal positions.

Resolving the problem

Provide the capability for EMD to generate decimal attribute for NUMBER/SIGNED NUMBER.

This issue has been resolved in PeopleSoft Adapter Fix Pack version 7.5.0.1.
