Question
When IntegratedSecurityMode is set to 4 or 5 in tm1s.cfg, then TM1 Architect, TM1 Perspectives, TM1 Web, and TM1 applications are using Cognos 8 or Cognos 10 BI security.
If SSO is not used, then the user is prompted for a user/password : the language of this prompt window does not depends on the Language parameter in tm1s.cfg nor tm1p.ini, and it neither depends on the user's preferences in Cognos Connection (BI portal) since this user is not connected yet.
So where to modify the displayed language for that prompt ?
Answer
This depends on the language set in the Internet Options.
- Open Internet Explorer
- In "Tools" menu, open "Internet Options"
- From "General" tab, click "Languages" button
- Add the needed language and use "Move Up" button to bring it at the top of the list.
