Problem
When attempting to view files and folders in IBM Content Navigator (ICN), dates associated with these objects are shown in the US Date Format MM/DD/YYYY. This occurs even if the browser is set to a regional setting that uses DD/MM/YYYY.
Symptom
The date format for 'Modified On' is shown in the US date format MM/DD/YYYY, despite the regional settings for the browser having been set to a DD/MM/YYYY format.
Cause
The problem can be caused by either of the following:
- The browser is set to a non-supported locale (such as en-ie), causing ICN to default to US Format.
- Microsoft Office Integration is set and installed on an unsupported version of ICN, such as ICN 2.0.0.

Diagnosing The Problem
Review the browser settings and confirm if they are something other than en-gb (United Kingdom); for example, using en-ie (Ireland) will cause dates to be shown in US Format, despite the fact that the date format for en-ie is DD/MM/YYYY.
If the browser is using a supported locale and the version of ICN is 2.0.0, check if the affected client's desktop settings in the Administration Window for Office Integration match the screenshot below as this can also cause this issue.
Resolving The Problem
If the browser language is not set to en-gb, change it to en-gb and refresh the page. Please refer to the browser's documentation for how to achieve this.
Note that the date format is not handled by the operating system's regional settings, but instead from the browser language settings. If ISO-8601 (YYYY-MM-DD) is to be used, a country that uses ISO-8601 must be selected to enable it, such as China (zh-cn).
If ICN 2.0.0 is installed and the affected client desktop is using Microsoft Office Integration, either upgrade to ICN 2.0.1 or disable Microsoft Office Integration.
