Why Team name in SelfSRM GUI does not match the one in Maximo Admin UI?
If you Create a Team via SelfSRM GUI and you name it for example TEST0001, you can easily see that in Maximo Admin UI you find it with a different name - ex. TEAM32 - on Administrator -> Resources -> Person Groups.
The naming of the Teams in Person Groups Application in Maximo UI is working as designed. The reason for the Team name and person group being different is that the Maximo person groups are not enabled for multi-customer support.
That is, it is not possible to create two teams with the name "TEST0001" for customer "mycustomer_A" and "mycustomer_B".
To avoid this problem, a new field "PMRDPTEAMNAME" has been introduced, which is now used to display the team name, while internally, a unique team name is generated like "TEAM32", which prevents naming collisions.
For tracing the teams in maximo, in Cloud Customer Administrator Application for the particular customer, you could see both the Display name and the Generated team names under the Teams and User tab.
