Problem(Abstract)
When I was trying to install IBM SPSS Statistics 21 to my Windows XP system, an error occurred at the beginning of the installation:
"Windows installer has encountered a problem and needs to close.
Their saved if they have not had labor data can be gone possibly lost.
Please report this problem also on Microsoft.

Resolving the problem
This is a problem with the Windows Installer application that comes with Microsoft Windows. Please reinstall the Windows Installer from the following web page:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8483
Please download the file that is appropriate for your operating system version and platform.
Once completed, attempt to install IBM SPSS Statistics again.
