Persistent message in SystemOut log after upgrading WebSphere JDBC Adapter to V7.5

Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)

Persistent message is generated in the SystemOut log file after upgrading WebSphere JDBC Adapter to version 7.5.

Symptom

The following message is printed in the SystemOut log file more frequently after upgrading WebSphere JDBC Adapter to version 7.5.

JDBCManagedConnection getWBIConnection Database connection in 'DataSource JNDI' mode is created successfully!

Cause

While using the JDBC Adapter outbound process, this message is generated for each database operation initiated by the Adapter. The message is added to improve Adapter tracing for connection level issues.

Resolving the problem

The message is added at the INFO level. Avoid INFO level trace to suppress the message in the SystemOut log file. For example, set trace string to *=info:com.ibm.j2ca.*=warning.
