Question

How to pull a user's default insert site automatically into the siteid field when they go to create an SR

Answer

Service Requests are primarily designed to be shared system wide and not for a particular site. However, it is possible to pull a user's default insert site into the siteid
field using a crossover domain.

You can do this by setting up a crossover domain that uses the following information :

object : MAXUSER
validation where clause: USERID = :USER
Source field : DEFSITE
Destination field: SITEID

You would then need to apply this crossover domain to your SR.TICKETID
attribute in Database configuration and configure your database to apply the changes.
