Abstract

IBM BPM Advanced Pattern on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server V8.0.1 is a combination of IBM Business Process Manager Advanced and the operating system. It is optimized to run in server virtualization environments. This product will be generally available on March 15, 2013.

The IBM BPM Advanced Pattern on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server comes with the following capabilities:

  • Facilitates streamlined setup and management of complex, highly available business process management configurations hat are pre-optimized for production use

  • Enables you to focus critical resources on value-add activities and less on installation, configuration, and management

  • Helps you accelerate the expansion of business process management from a project to a program across your enterprise

This IBM BPM Advanced Pattern provides the same capabilities as delivered in IBM Business Process Manager Advanced V8.0.1. You can use it with IBM PureApplication System W1500 and IBM Workload Deployer.

Note: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server Version 6.3 for x86 (64-bit) is included in the hypervisor image. VMware ESX or ESXi is required when this pattern is used on an IBM System x.
