Rich Page Editor is a feature of Worklight Studio. It is used to edit HTML and JSP files, add Dojo widgets to HTML pages, and create and edit web pages for mobile devices. On Linux systems, the Eclipse Standard Widget Toolkit (SWT) might not be able to find and use the default native browser.
Resolving the problem
Refer to Installation requirements for embedded browsers on Linux systems document for more detailed information.
Note: The modifications that are suggested in the previously listed document should be applied to the proper file. The proper file is based on the installation.
- For Eclipse P2 installations, edit the eclipse.ini file
- For Install Manager installations, edit the Worklight.sh file. However, in shell sharing cases involving other components in the installation, you might have to inspect which executable launch point is being used so that you can edit the proper file.
