Start Operational Decision Manager as a service

Technote (FAQ)

Question

I just installed the Operational Decision Manager (ODM) modules, Decision Center and/or Rule Execution Server on a WebSphere application server, how can I configure it to run as a service?

Answer

You can have your server hosting the ODM modules setup to start as a service with WASService.exe, which is used for adding, updating, and removing WebSphere Services in Windows.

WASService.exe is shipped with WebSphere Application Server: you will can it under the ODM installation folder: <ODMInstallFolder>\WAS\AppServer\bin.

For steps to have your server start as a service, refer to technote Using WASServiceCmd to create Windows services for WebSphere Application Servers.
