Question
A user login into TPAE Start Center, and navigate to : GoTo -> IT Infrastructure -> Software Catalog -> Software Product Import Instead of product import page, it shows an empty page. Why?
Cause
The user experiencing this issue has only 'Read Access to Software Product' permission in the 'Software Product Import' application (Security Group -> Application tab).
Answer
This is working as designed as the Software Product Import page is meant to create and save new software products in TPM and this page/application is not meant for listing all available software
products.
To list all the software the application which need to be used is:
Goto->IT Infrastructure -> Software Catalog -> Software Products.
If you need the user to perform Software product creation and save via Software Product Import page, then you should add the relevant permissions.
