Failure when running rad_radshell and other commands that require tipadmin authentication on the command line, such as setTraceLevel.sh.
The following error seen in the trace logs:
The password match failed.
tipadmin user in file based and objectserver repository
Resolving the problem
When the data server is installed the tipadmin user is created in the local file based user repository even if an objectserver repository is also specified. Therefore, if tipadmin is also added to the objectserver, it will fail to be authenticated because a user in WebSphere cannot exist in 2 repositories.
Remove the tipadmin user from the objectserver repository and if you have something like webtop_osresync configured, stop it from replicating the tipadmin user in the objectserver.
