Various Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerabilities in IBM Sterling Connect:Direct for UNIX that can be triggered by sending specially-crafted data to Connect:Direct over the network.

DESCRIPTION: Connect:Direct is vulnerable to certain forms of specially-crafted data sent to it over the network. The specially-crafted data can cause a Connect:Direct Session Manager that is receiving the data to crash and can cause numerous error messages in the Connect:Direct logs. In both cases, resources are consumed that are then unavailable for legitimate Connect:Direct operations.
