The Event Summary chart of the Service Administration page fails with a message like:

Illegal character ...
Symptom
The chart fails to display.
Cause
This chart uses data from the events in the objectserver.
Resolving the problem
Check the Node fields in the objectserver events for bad (unprintable) characters and correct the cause in the application that created the events.
