Problem(Abstract)
Customer has Data Collection 32 bit and Modeler Client 64 bit installed on Windows 7. Working with Modeler's Data Collection Source node, unable to view the data.
Installing 64bit Data Collection Survey Reporter Developer Kit, as instructed in the IBM SPSS Modeler 15 Source, Process, and Output Nodes document, caused problems with the already installed 32bit Data Collection.
Cause
On the same machine, the 2 products should be at the same bit.
Environment
Windows 7 64bit
Modeler Client 15 64bit
Data Collection 6.0 32bit
Resolving the problem
If Modeler and Data Collection are installed on the same machine a separate installation of the Data Collection Survey Reporter Development Kit is not needed, but the two products should be at the same bit level to communicate.
To resolve, uninstall Data Collection 32bit and install Data Collection 64bit.
If unable to upgrade Data Collection, move Modeler 15 64b to a machine that does not have Data Collection 32b installed and install the 64 bit IBM SPSS Data Collection Survey Reporter available under Modeler's product downloads.
