InfoSphere Information Server 9.1 Installation Error "The image properties file was not found..."

Technote (FAQ)

Question

When running 'setup' script to install InfoSphere Information Server 9.1, why do I get the following message?
"The image properties file was not found. The file is part of the entitlement package which can be obtained from your installation media or download site. The package name has the form Bundle*.zip. Before installation, extract contents of this package into the /is-suite directory"

Answer

In version 9.1, the Bundle*.zip refers to the file with format IIS_V9.1_BUNDLE*.zip which contains the license key for the purchased InfoSphere Information Server packages.

For example: IIS_V9.1_BUNDLE_SPEC_FILE_MPML.zip is the license file for Information Server 9.1 Multiplatform Multilingual Enterprise Edition.

You need to download this file from the Passport Advantage site for your purchased InfoSphere Information Server 9.1 product edition and unpack it into your product media directory,e.g. 'is-suite' directory.

Once unpacked, it should be in 'license' folder and that should resolve your error and allow you to continue the install process.
