Viewing Recent Job Plan Revisions In The Quick Find Box

Question

In the Quick Find Box, is it possible to view the most recent job plan revisions?

Cause

The Maximo interface does not sort the job plans by revision number when retrieving the records in a search or look-up.

Answer

Although, this is working as designed, and it is not expected that the most recent job plan revision will appear first in a search, or in a look-up. It is possible to sort the returned data set so that the most recent job plan revision will populate first in the Quick Find search on the toolbar.

Add the following on the presentation tag in the Jobplan.xml file:

>orderby="PLUSCREVNUM desc"
