Question
When configuring OMEGAMON via PARMGEN and using system variables, what variable is set to specify the VTAM APPLID for MVS OMEGAMON Classic?
Answer
In your WCONFIG(rtename) member, there is a section for each agent you configure. The configuration of MVS OMEGAMON Classic is done as part of the configuration of OMEGAMON II for MVS (i.e. M2). In your PARMGEN member, all variables related to M2 (and thus also to OMEGAMON Classic) are done between the lines
KM2$ BEGIN *--------------- OMEGAMON II FOR MVS ------------------*
set all M2 variables
KM2$ END *--------------- OMEGAMON II FOR MVS --------------------*
Between the KM2$ BEGIN and KM2$ END lines there is a section for configuring APPLIDs for M2. This section begins with:

One of the APPLIDs in this section is
KM2_CLASSIC_VTAM_APPL_LOGON
Set this variable to the system variable for the OMEGAMON Classic VTAM logon APPLID.
