Problem(Abstract)
Unable to complete a backup using the Tivoli Storage Manager for Virtual Environments plugin, the schedule fails with the following message: ANS2619S (RC3026) The client Acceptor Deamon was unable to start the Remote client Agent.
Cause
The Tivoli Storage Manager remote client agent service is missing.
Resolving the problem
Verify that the Tivoli Storage Manager remote client agent service exists and is configured correctly.
- The service can be configured using the client GUI setup wizard (Help me configure the TSM Web Client) in the Backup Archive Client GUI under the Utilities menu.
- Alternatively, the service may also be configured using the dsmcutil command.Refer to the following link for instructions/options.
