How to change logo in BIRT Viewer frame in Maximo

Troubleshooting


Problem

After changing the logos used in the BIRT reports, and when the report is run from Maximo, the BIRT Viewer frame still shows the IBM logo. This document provides the steps to change this IBM logo.

Resolving The Problem

To make this change, the file bg.navbar.jpg must be modified to show logo desired. Make a copy of this file and change it using a jpg editor.
The file is in:

applications\maximo\maximouiweb\webmodule\WEB-INF\birt\platform\plugins\
com.ibm.tivoli.maximo.report.birt.viewer_1.0.0.jar file.

This jar file is located in the web\webcontent\birt\images\ path.
