Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)

When using the Industry Models for m1/MMM tooling deployment option and when running the Industry Models Logical Data Model Import feature in InfoSphere Data Architect (IDA), the "Select Source Model Type" import wizard page shows an empty list for Source Model Type.

Cause

This problem occurs when the previous file location for the flat files you wish to import no longer exists. It has been reported to the Industry Models development team as a Product defect.

Resolving the problem

There are two available workarounds:

  1. You can re-create the previous flat files location on your file system
  2. You can switch to a new workspace and import your existing models to this new workspace
