Problem(Abstract)
There is an inaccuracy in the documentation in the Administration Guide for Netcool/Impact 5.1.1 that describes how to configure the embedded version of WebSphere Application Server for SSL certificate and key management.
Symptom
When you click the 'Add' button, the signed certificate file is not copied to the directory.
Cause
Before you configure the embedded version of WebSphere Application Server for SSL certificate and key management, you must copy the certificate file to the WAS_HOME/profiles/ImpactProfile/etc directory . After you have copied the files to the directory, you click the Add button to add the certificate to the list of trusted certificates.
Resolving the problem
The 'Configure the embedded version of WebSphere Application Server for SSL certificate and key management' topic in the Administration Guide for Netcool/Impact 5.1.1 is inaccurate. The instructions in step 5 need to be corrected.
