Problem(Abstract)
Some links that were created between artifacts in Rational DOORS version 9.5 and artifacts in the Requirements Management (RM) application in the Rational solution for Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) are not shown in traceability reports in Rational Insight version 1.1.1.
Note: Some capabilities for the RM application in CLM version 4.0.1 are provided by Rational DOORS Next Generation.
Cause
After the Rational DOORS and the RM ETL (extract, transform, load) processes run several times, links that were created in the RM application in CLM to link to Rational DOORS artifacts are removed from the data warehouse and therefore they are not available in the Rational Insight traceability report.
Environment
Install the following products:
- Rational Insight version 1.1.1
- Rational DOORS version 9.5
- Rational DOORS Next Generation version 4.0.1
Configure Rational DOORS for OSLC linking with the RM application in CLM. Configure Rational DOORS integration with Rational Insight.
Resolving the problem
There is no workaround for this problem if the links are created from the RM application in CLM. If all the links are created from Rational DOORS, then the traceability report contains all links.
