WebSphere Cast Iron V6.3 Studio error opening projects which include configuration properties

Problem Overview:

The following exception is seen when an attempt is made to open a project on WebSphere Cast Iron Studio V6.3 when the original project was created on a previous version of Cast Iron

Error opening project. Message:
java.lang.ClassCastException: com.approuter.studio.configprops.ConfigurationProperty incompatible with java.lang.String
Level: SEVERE

This occurs when the original project that was developed uses Configuration Properties in the HTTP connector activity.

APAR LI77179 has addressed this issue.

Fix Details:
An updated version of WebSphere Cast Iron V6.3 Studio is available to download from fix central.
