Problem(Abstract)
The Sterling Control Center GUI takes a long time to get to a workable state (5-10 min) and the Alert windows sometimes take 3 minutes and above to populate.
Resolving the problem
Please upgrade to the latest 5.3.02+ fix package.
There have been a number of console / performance related fixes after General Availability base release 5.3.00.
