Gathering general information

WebSphere Data Interchange Server version with maintenance level:
AIX
lslpp -L | grep -i wdi

For example:

FileSet         Level    State Type Description
------------------------------------------------
IBMWDI33SERVER  3.3.X.15    C    P  ISMP installed

Where "X" is the Server Fix Pack number installed
Windows
Check the Windows registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IBM\WebSphere Data Interchange Server\3.3.0

"Service Level" value is the Server Fix Pack number installed
z/OS
Obtain an SMP/E PTF listing using this sample JCL:

//PTFLIST EXEC PGM=GIMSMP,REGION=4096K
//SMPCSI   DD DISP=SHR,DSN=EDI.V3R3M0.SMPCSI.CSI
//SMPHOLD  DD DUMMY                            
//SMPOUT   DD SYSOUT=*

SET BDY(EDITGT) OPTIONS(EDIOPT).                
LIST PTF FORFMID(H28N330).

Operating system version:
AIX
oslevel -r
Windows
Go to  Start -> Control Panel  -> System. Find the "System" information under the "General" tab
z/OS
Enter console command: DISPLAY IPLINFO
Find the RELEASE information, e.g.
RELEASE z/OS 01.13.00  
CICS
From a CICS session, enter command:
CECI INQUIRE SYSTEM
Find CICSTSlevel information. The value is of the form vvrrmm, e.g. CICS Version 3 Release 2 returns 030200.


WebSphere Data Interchange Client Version and Fix Pack level:
Open WDI Client -> Help menu -> About...

Submitting information to IBM Support

After a PMR is open, you can submit diagnostic MustGather data to IBM. If using Service Request (SR), update the PMR to indicate that data has been sent.
