Why can't I sort by Item Description in Inventory even after checking Filterable in Application Designer?
Answer
In Inventory the Item Description comes from the Item table through a relationship.
It is a limitation in Maximo that you cannot sort by data from a child table through a relationship.
You can filter but not sort.
