Problems using Brazilian characters in a SLC name

Problem(Abstract)

The Sterling Control Center console allowed characters such as ç ã to be used in creating a SLC.

After creation the SLC can not be maintained.

Symptom

The SLC name shows differently on the console after it was created.


Cause

This has been identified as a product defect under APAR IC89146

Diagnosing the problem

SLC name displays differently then when it was entered, and can not be altered.

Resolving the problem

Work around manually remove the SLC xml from the folder
and remove the name from the wildcard slc ordering text file.

Apply the latest SCC maintenance with the fix from APAR IC89146
