Support for IBM DB2 Analytics Accelerator (IDAA) within TDSz

IDAA statistics data are collected from the SMF type 100 subtype 1 record, and IDAA accounting data is collected from the SMF type 101 record. This APAR provides new record definitions, tables, updates and reports into the DB2 component (Accounting and Response Time Statistics subcomponent) to collect and report on IDAA data from within TDSz. The following new objects are provided with this APAR:

1. Tables
Two new tables have been added and four existing tables modified within the DB2 component:

a) New tables:

DB2_IDAA_STAT_H, _D
These tables provide hourly and daily overall statistics on the IDAA. They contain accumulated accounting and response time data based on SMF type 100 subtype 1 records (IFCID 0002).

DB2_IDAA_ACC_H, _D
These tables provide hourly and daily thread level statistics on the IDAA. They contain activity related counters and times based on SMF type 101 records (IFCID 0003).

b) Existing tables modified:

DB2_APPLICATION_H, _W
DB2_TRANSACTION_D, _W
DB2_USER_APPL_H, _W
DB2_USER_TRAN_H, _D, _W
These existing TDSz tables have been updated to provide additional transaction accounting and response time information for the IDAA, grouped by the existing keys of these tables. This gives the ability to view traditional DB2 metrics and IDAA metrics side by side for a given application, transaction, etc.

2. Reports
Two new TDSz reports have been added for reporting on the IDAA data:

DB244 - DB2 IDAA Statistics by Transaction, Detail
This report shows IDAA transaction statistics side by side with traditional DB2 CPU usage, for a given DB2 plan. Entering a blank DB2 plan name will show statistics for all DB2 plans. The report displays accumulated values for all accelerators if more than one accelerator is present.

DB245 - DB2 IDAA Statistics by Accelerator, Detail
This report shows IDAA statistics for a given accelerator on an hourly basis, across a given date range.
