Problem(Abstract)
There is an error in the IBM Rational Performance Tester (RPT) v8.3 documentation which states, "When using Rational Performance Tester 3.0 or later, the server URL that is configured for the adapter must exactly match the public URI of the Rational Performance Tester server. The server public URI is available on the Rational Performance Tester administration page. "
Cause
On the RPT Information Center page called "Rational Quality Manager integration overview" at http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/rpthelp/v8r3m0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.rational.test.lt.doc%2Ftopics%2Fc_rpt_adapter.html there is a reference to RPT which should say IBM Rational Quality Manager (RQM).
Resolving the problem
The correct statement should be, "When using Rational Quality Manager 3.0 or later, the server URL that is configured for the adapter must exactly match the public URI of the Rational Quality Manager server. The server public URI is available on the Rational Quality Manager administration page."
