Question

Is there a way that you can set the tab size for the code editors per the IBM Rational Rhapsody install (globally) instead of per model?

Cause

In Rational Rhapsody, you can right-click in the implementation editor and set the tab size, fonts, etc (see below):

This setting is per model. If you wanted to set this for all models on the install then the below will provide the means.

Answer

The setting is controlled at the registry level and the following steps will allow you to set the tab size at the install level rather than per model.

WARNING: Always backup the registry before making any changes

1. Launch the registry editor

2. Open: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Telelogic\Rhapsody 7.6.1\Code Window-Ansi

3. Change the "TABSIZE" entry value
