Problem(Abstract)

Some servers running Windows 2008 may see high CPU utilization for LSASS and Blackice processes.

Symptom

Servers may show high CPU utilization for LSASS and blackice processes.


Cause

This issue is caused by the operating system's attempt to verify access rights to files in the agent's directory.

Resolving the problem

A patch has been created to correct the high CPU issue. Please contact Customer Support to get access to the patch to fix this issue.
