How to change Sterling Integrator JDK from IBM to Oracle?

Question

Is it possible to change the IBM JDK used to install Sterling B2B Integrator after the install has finished to a SUN JDK?

Answer

Follow this procedure to change the JDK:
1. download the JCE policy file for the Oracle JDK

2. edit sandbox.cfg
JCE_DIST_FILE=NEW PATH
Note: that the column sign and backslash have to be escaped
(windows):
JCE_DIST_FILE=D\:\\Programme\\Java\\ORAJCE\\jce_policy-6.zip

3. run replaceJDK.cmd D:\Programme\Java\ora_jdk_16_u31 from the bin
folder of the SI install
