ITM 6: Editing situation from the Situation Event Console fails
This technote addresses an issue where an attempt to edit a situation from the Situation Event Console (SEC) in the TEP brings up a blank situation rather than the one that has been selected.
In the TEP, if one does a right-click -> edit situation in an open situation in the Situation Event Console, the Situation Editor open but uncontextualized, so, instead of the situation, you get an empty <Unnamed> entry.
Resolving the problem
This is a known issue that is fixed with APAR IV17262 that is included in ITM 6.23 FP2.
There is no workaround for editing situations through the SEC other than to install this fix pack.
