Configure sigoption in table control properties

Question & Answer

Question

How to configure sigoption correctly in table control properties?

Cause

Sigoption needs an Mbo to be evaluated against. When a sigoption is placed on a table, it will use the table's 'Data Source ID' to evaluate the sigoption if there is no 'Sig Option Data Source ID' defined. Thus, if the table does not have any record, there will be no Mbo to evaluate the sigoption against resulting in the table not being displayed.

Answer

You need to define the 'Sig Option Data Source ID' for the table control properties so there is an Mbo to be evaluated against with for the sigoption. In order to configure this correctly, you have to define 'MAINRECORD' in 'Sig Option Data Source ID' of the table control properties.
